Description
The 2021 Issues Pack contains background material and opinion pieces for these ten current issues:

- Electric vehicle tax
- Night grandfinal
- Removing sacred trees in Djab Wurrung country
- Gay conversion laws
- The film about Martin Bryant called ‘Nitram’
- Raising the legal age of criminal responsibility
For each issue there is a folder which contains:
- A background handout on the issue
- 2-3 pairs of opinion pieces publish since September last year which can be used for the SAC or for practice activities
The resource also includes information on:
- How to introduce students to the conservative and progressive values at the heart of many of the opinion pieces
- How to provide students with an overview of the types of publications they will be analysing
