This workshop is aimed at teachers new to VCE English or returning to it after a break. This workshop looks closely at strategies, resources and tasks for teaching and assessing the areas of studies which Units 1 and 3 have in common:
*Creative responses to texts
*Text responses
*Analysing argument
By the end of this workshop, teachers will be equipped with a range of practical strategies to explicitly teach and scaffold students to write in all these areas. They’ll also have a range of ideas about creative responses which they can immediately implement in head start programs.
