This professional development is for teachers who will be delivery Vocational Major Literacy at Units 1 or 3 in 2024. The workshop will cover strategies and resources for teaching VM Literacy at Units 1 and 3, including:

• Designing assessment tasks and criteria sheets
• Integrating areas of study
• Core writing, reading, speaking and listening literacy strategies and teaching routines
• Suggested topics, texts and mini-units for each area of study
• Digital tools to support, engage and scaffold students
