This workshop introduces each of the texts on Unit 3&4 English Text List 1 and Text List 2 for 2019.The presentation will provide an overview of the benefits and challenges of studying each text or pair of texts and recommendations about cohorts of students they might suit, including EAL students. The workshop will also look at which texts on Text List 1 would suit analytical or creative responses and how to set up courses to include both these response types. Also discussed during this workshop will be how to choose texts at Year 11 that will provide students with the best springboard for success in Year 12.
