Description
This issues pack is designed to be used for the Exploring Argument area of study of Unit 2, VCE English. The pack includes persuasive written and audio visual (AV) material about these six issues that have been in the media since the beginning of 2023:
- Bluey ‘Exercise’ episode – body shaming
- Road toll
- Rental/Housing affordability crisis
- Voice to parliament
- End of native logging in Victoria
- Duck hunting / Regulation of outdoor space in Victoria
For each issue, there is:
- Transcripts of and links to 2-3 short persuasive (online) AV texts on the issue
- 3-4 persuasive written pieces
- A background to the issue
