This workshop has two aims:
*To demonstrate at how to construct, teach and assess VCE English, Unit 1 Personal Text Response Units
*To highlight opportunities for engaging in personal text response units and writing at Year Levels 7-10 in order to prepare students for the new personal text response area of study in VCE English English, Unit 1.
Throughout the workshop, teachers will be shown:
*What personal text responses at Unit 1 can look like
*What personal text responses at Years 7-10 can look like
*How to incorporate personal responses to existing text response units at Year Levels 7-10
*How to create new personal text response units at Year Levels 7-10
*Reading, viewing and discussion activities to scaffold insightful personal responses at Unit 1 & Year Levels 7-10
