This resource is designed for teachers studying Rainbow’s End for EAL English Unit 3, Outcome 1. This resource includes two audio recordings of six minutes each along with listening tasks for each recording. In the audio recordings, two presenters discuss ideas which are important to understanding the cultural and social context of Rainbow’s End In the listening tasks, students are prompted to take notes about vocabulary and then use the vocabulary to answer questions. This listening task features activities worth 20 marks and is designed to be used as a SAC assessment. One task can be completed as a practice, the other task as the actual SAC.
