The 2022 Issues Pack contains background material and opinion pieces for these eleven current issues. These issues are divided into four broad umbrella topics, allowing teachers to study one broad topic throughout a unit but several smaller issues within it:
Free speech

- Anti Trolling laws
For each individual issue there is a folder which contains:
- A background handout on the issue
- 2-3 pairs of opinion pieces published since September last year which can be used for the SAC or for practice activities
The resource also includes information on:
- How to introduce students to the conservative, progressive or other audience values at the heart of many of the opinion pieces
- How to provide students with an overview of the types of publications they will be analysing
