Description
This resource includes two high-scoring pieces on personal journeys written in response to Section B of the 2025 VCE English Exam.
Each response is accompanied by active annotation tasks that require students to identify, label and think about key features of effective Section B writing, including:
- Writing effectively about the idea of personal journeys
- Linking the piece to the Section B title
- Linking the piece to one of the stimuli
- Using a range of sentence types and structures
- Bringing a piece to an effective conclusion
The annotation tasks also scaffold students to reflect on what they have noticed and learnt from each model and consider how they might apply these approaches to their own Section B writing.
