Ticking Mind is offering a series of student VCE English exam preparation sessions via Zoom. These sessions will be run in the two weeks leading up to the September school holidays. They will show students how to prepare for the English exam over the holidays and at the beginning of Term 4. A detailed description of each session is below.

Schools that purchase this program will receive the login information to share with their students so they can attend sessions live. Schools will also be sent links to the recording of each of the sessions and a copy of the PPT to share with students. Students can attend multiple live sessions in the timetable.

Section C

The Section C session will show students:

  • What types of tasks to expect on the exam
  • How to identify the issue, audience and intention of a piece
  • How to annotate a text in an effective way
  • How to write about audience
  • How to analyse arguments, structure and language in a piece
